Solo Dance Prize is a teaching and assessment method based on the theory of teaching ballet, through dance itself.

The Teaching Program consists of 13 levels of carefully prepared solos divided into levels of difficulty:

  • Each level corresponds to a recommended age group (4 - 18 years old)

  • Within each level there are two or more dances

  • The entire program is digitally supported by videos, music and handbooks

Each solo in Solo Dance Prize is accompanied by a description of steps that must be taught in the classroom.

Choreographed to advance the child both technically, artistically and musically.

Concepts are taught in class and motivate students to continue to learn and improve.

In this way, the technique of classical ballet is taught through dance itself.

Concept

  • The concept of Solo Dance Prize and its method can be in addition to your school’s already existing method.

  • There are over 50 solos to choose from for boys and girls of different standards. You as the teacher decide which level and which solo.

  • The music for each solo is specially chosen, played and arranged. High quality professional recordings of music and videos are provided.

  • After the solos are taught alongside classroom material, the teacher chooses when the children are ready to perform and if desired, a time is arranged to perform!
